DAY 01.MEDAN - BUKITLAWANG.
Arrival in Medan.
We will pick up you from the airport and depart to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang to orang utan rehabilitation centre in Gunung Leseur
nature reservation.
DAY 02.BUKITLAWANG
Full day walk through the
jungle to see the orang utan in their original habitat, the sportive hiker can take exciting jungle trips here. However walkers
must be fit and have suitable, large profile shoes.
(We can arrange for jungle
trek overnight at the jungle)
DAY 03.BUKITLAWANG –
BRASTAGI
You will make a trip along
a fascinating route to the mountain village of Brastagi in the Karo Highlands. Here you can view two active volcanoes, the Sibayak
and the Sinabung. In Brastagi you can visit the colorfull fruitmarket and the Karo Batak traditional villages in Peceren.
DAY 04.BRASTAGI – SAMOSIR
- ISLAND .
After breakfast drive to
Parapat on the way visit Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolan ( Long House ) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung
to see the view of Lake Toba, upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat arrival at Samosir check in
to hotel.
DAY 05.SAMOSIR ISLAND
– TOBA TOUR
During the tour over this
picturesque island you visit typical Toba Batak villages: Tomok with its kings' tombs, Ambarita with its execution tables
and in Simanindo you can see traditional Batak dances.
DAY 06.SAMOSIR ISLAND
– SIPIROK.
After breakfast crossing
back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sipirok, on the way stop at Pineapple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting
traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arrival at Sipirok to enjoy the nature by walking
at the bank of Sarulla River,
the rice terrace and arrival at Sipirok check in to hotel.
DAY 07.SIPIROK – BUKITTINGGI
Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi by passing rain tropical forest
of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the attraction of monkey
picking up the coconut. Visit pepper, vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon garden, and
crossing the equator line at Bonjol, afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi the charming towns of Minangkabau directly check
in to hotel.
DAY 08.MINANGKABAU TOUR.
After
breakfast drive to Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, on the way stop at Rao-Rao to visit Minangkabau traditional village and stop
to see traditional village and stop to see traditional coffee milling, arrival at Batu Sangkar drive to Pagaruyung to visit
the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom, afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang and visit Pandai Sikat village to see
Minangkabau traditional hand weaving and wood carving.
DAY 09.BUKITTINGGI –
MANINJAU LAKE.
After breakfast city tour by visiting Sianok Canyon with its Japanese tunnel, Fort Dr Kock, Museum and Jam Gadang (Big
Ben) the Lands Mark of Bukittinggi and market then drive to Maninjau, on the way visiting Koto Gadang village to see traditional
silver work and passing the fantastic 44 hairpin turns road, arrival at Maninjau check in to hotel.
DAY 10.MANINJAU - PADANG.
Today you go to Padang via the beautiful Anai valley with the Anai waterfall. The harbour
city of Padang on the Indian Ocean is the economic center of West Sumatra.
On arrival there is a city tour of Padang.
DAY 11. PADANG
– KERSIK TRO - KERINCI
After breakfast drive to Sungai Penuh via Muara labuh and stop at Lake
Diatas and Lake Dibawah
and passing several Minang Kabau
Village. On the way visit Telun Berasap Waterfall and passing tea plantation
at Kayu Aro and arrival at Sei Penuh , the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park
DAY 12. KERINCI NATIONAL PARK
For the seasoned hiker magnificent
hikes with a local guide can be arranged.
Of special interest are Lake Kerinci
and the volcano Kerinci. Or treking to Lake Danau Tujuh is a huge-mysterious lake on 1.996 m above sea level and surrounded
by primary rainforest and seven hills. Lunch will be served on the side of the lake. The pristine area around the lake is
known as the habitat of Sumatran Tigers, Sumatran Elephants, Primates, endemic birds of Sumatra
as well as research area for the “small man” who live in the jungle around the lake. Most of the day is spent
by trekking and explore the surrounding in search for animals, birds and exotic plants
DAY 13: KERSIK TUO - PADANG.
After breakfast visiting
Semurup Hot Spring, Old Historical Mosque with
its Giant Drum and Lake Kerinci,
then drive to Padang via Painan, on the way stop banyan tree unique bridge, Bungus Beach arrival at Padang check in to hotel.
DAY 14: PADANG - JAKARTA - BOGOR
In the morning transfer to
the airport to catch your flight for Jakarta. On arrival in
Soekarno Hatta International airport, our guide will meet you and depart directly for the cool city of Bogor. Overnight stay in Bogor.
DAY 15: BOGOR – BANDUNG
In the morning a visit to
the Botanical garden besides Istana Bogor. The Istana Bogor or Bogor
Palace was the official residence of the Dutch Governor General from
1870 till 1942. In the botanical garden you can find different types of plants from all over the world. After the visit to
the Botanical Garden, you precede to Bandung via the Puncak
Pass and beautiful tea plantations. If possible you can make a visit
to a tea factory. Overnight stay in Bandung.
DAY 16: BANDUNG
Excursions to the impressive
Tangkuban Prahu crater then proceed to Ciater hotspring. In the afternoon you can enjoy a performance of Pak Ujo's bambu angklung
orchestra in Padasuka. This is a nice event with adults and children performing music and Sundanese folkdances. Overnight
stay in the cool city of Bandung.
DAY 17: BANDUNG – BATU RADEN
Via Cipanas waterfall and
a traditional Sundanese village called Kampung Naga. Overnight stay in the mountain resort of Baturaden on the slopes of Slamat
volcano.
DAY 18: BATU RADEN - JOGYAKARTA
On the way stop at the Borobudur,
the biggest Budha temple of Java.
Overnight stay in Jogjakarta, the cultural of centre of Java.
DAY 19: JOGYAKARTA
The city of Jogyakarta
is situated between two Javanese mystical symbols, the Merapi volcano and the Indian ocean, home of Loro Gunung Kidul, Queen
of the South Sea.
Jogyakarta is the intellectual and cultural centre of Java. This day you make a cultural city tour starting with a visit to
the Sultan palace built in 1755. After that proceed to the Tamansari water castle, birdmarket, the silver village Kota Gede
and Batik home industry. Overnight stay in Jogjakarta.
DAY 20: JOGYAKARTA –
SOLO – TRETES
In the morning you will visit
the Prambanan, the most beautiful Hindu temple of Indonesia. Around noon arrive in Solo. The Solo sultanate is older than Jogya's and
residence of the Mataram Empire. In Solo you visit the Sultan's palaces and the flea market. In the afternoon arrive in the
mountain resort Tretes. Overnight stay in Tretes.
DAY 21: TRETES – BROMO
In the morning own programme
in Tretes, here you can go to the local market. In the afternoon drive to Sukapura for overnight stay.
DAY 22: SUKAPURA
– BROMO - SURABAYA
Very early in the morning
you leave for the famous Bromo volcano. On top of the Bromo you will have breathtaking views of the sunrise above the Semeru
and Batok volcanos. A jacket is suggested since the temperature on top of the volcano can drop till 5 degrees celcius. After
the Bromo experience you depart for Surabaya, the second city of Indonesia.
DAY 23: SURABAYA
– DENPASAR BALI.
After breakfast and taking
bath in hotel, we take a drive along the Anyer Panarukan road skirting the pristine white beach Pasir Putih; we drive to Gilimanuk
Pier on Bali Island,
and then drop to hotel for overnight.
DAY 24: DENPASAR - UBUD
Drive to Ubud, the artist's
village. From Ubud you can make all kinds of excursions. Bali has so much to offer, like
hiking, cultural events, watersports; you can decide on the spot what you want to do.
